Forty-five weeks into the 2nd season of the Individual Online Oware League, the number of participants increased by 3 toย ย 107 players from 31 known countries. We welcome acn Ivory Coast ๐จ๐ฎ, kamila17 ๐ฐ๐ฟ& zezero ๐ณ๐ฌ for participating in the tournament for the first time.
This week ayoboss won the title with a perfect 7.0 points. abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ & drawing with ademolaijaya ๐ณ๐ฌ. abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญplaced 2nd losing a game to ayoboss ๐ง๐ฏ. olowolafeabey ๐ณ๐ฌ placed 3rd completing the top three positions. Losing games to ayoboss ๐ง๐ฏ & abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ. issahfuseinji ๐ฌ๐ญ & Josty placed 4th & 5th respectively. Congratulations to ayoboss ๐ง๐ฏ for winning the title & everyone else who participated ๐๐๐.
With this result the Oga Ota of Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ mrjohnson still with 244.5, due to absence,ย leads by a decreased 47.0 points ahead of the nearest contenders abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ with 197.5 points. With 7 tournaments to go in this 2nd season of the Individual league. It is technically possible, but unlikely for abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ to overtake mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ for the league title. mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ will have to miss or score 1.5 points or less internet jthe remaining tournaments. abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ will have to win with a perfect 7.0 points all the remaining 7 tournaments.
Do well to recruit other players to participate in these tournaments, from your countries in order to enhance your individual & nations scores. This will enable us to surpass last seasonโs tally of 112 players. With each week we are getting nearer to surpassing this record With 7 tournaments to go, we are still 6 players away from breaking the 1st seasonโs 112 players record.
Please take note, the first three positioned players who are International or Full members of The Oware Society before the league ends, will be awarded cash prizes. Therefore If you place in the top 3, and wish to be considered for a cash award, join The Oware Society before the league ends. If donors & sponsorship can be acquired, and we are able to raise enough funds from member subscriptions we will put in place a prize fund for other categories: top placed, female, junior & continental players who have International, Full or Family membership.
